What You Can Do with Variants

  • Offer additional services alongside a product.
    Example: When buying a server product, users can add extra RAM, backup, or support packages.
  • Assign a separate extra charge for each variant.
  • When users select a variant during purchase, the defined price is added automatically.
  • Variants are optional, so users can choose whether to include them or only buy the main product.
This feature helps you present your products in a more flexible, customizable, and revenue-generating way.

1. Adding a Variant

Variants let you add optional extra options to your products. These options provide additional value to users and extra income for you. 1. Log in to your admin panel.
2. Click the “Shopping Cart” icon in the left menu.
3. Go to “Store Management.”
4. Click “Variants.”
5. Click the “Add Variant” button in the top-right corner.

Fill in Variant Details

  • Identifier:
    Define a short English name to use within the system.
    This value is used for the variant’s technical link to the product.
    Example: extra_ram, priority_support
  • Variant Name:
    Enter the title displayed to users.
    Example: “Extra RAM,” “Priority Support,” “Backup Service”
  • Variant Description:
    Write an explanatory text that appears below the variant.
    Example: “Adds 1 GB of extra RAM to your server.”
  • Variant Type:
    Choose how the user interacts with the variant:
    • Text: The user enters free text (for example, special notes).
    • Numeric: The user enters a number (for example, quantity).
    • Dropdown (Selection List): The user selects from predefined options.
      • If you choose Dropdown, add the options in the field that appears below.
      • For each option:
        • Enter the name (for example, “1 GB RAM,” “3-Day Delivery”).
        • Set the extra price (for example, 10 TL).
      You can reorder this list by dragging or remove options with the trash icon.
6. After completing all fields, click “Publish.”

2. Adding a Variant to a Product

You can easily integrate created variants into one or more products to offer customers custom options. Follow these steps to attach variants to products: 1. Log in to your admin panel.
2. Click the “Shopping Cart” icon in the left menu.
3. Go to “Store Management.”
4. Click “Products.”
5. Click the “Edit (Pencil)” button next to the product you want to modify.
6. In the product editing page, go to the “Variants” section.
7. From the list, select the variant(s) you want to apply to this product. Selected variants appear on the product’s purchase page, allowing users to choose them. The defined prices automatically apply to the cart total.
